Where can I find a place to pop kettle corn

Ask yourself one question--

"Where are the people?"

Farmers markets, Football games, Baseball games, Soccer games, Street corners, Airshows, Balloon festivals, Kite festivals, Local street fairs of any kind, Strawberry festivals, Apple festivals, High-rise office buildings, Motocross events, Bicycle events, Golf tournaments, Garage sales, Block parties, School fundraisers, Grocery stores, Home Depot's, Lowe's, Wal-Mart, Department stores especially in December, Pumpkin patches, Christmas tree farms, Zoos, Theme parks, Fourth of July events, Military events, Big ship events, Wholesale to stores, Corporate events, Corporate picnics, Camping events, WHEREEVER there are people-- kettle corn is always welcome!

Do I need a permit or license?

Typically yes.. contact your local state government and find out if you need a business license to sell popcorn. Every state is different and most do require a simple business license. Typically $10-$50

How about a health permit?

The nice thing about kettle corn is that it's considered a low risk food. Most health departments require a simple health card and some sort of handwashing station. Our Rear rack is a perfect solution for the handwashing requirements. However we have used a 5 gallon igloo drink cooler with a simple on-off water valve with hot water in it and a 5 gallon Home Depot catch bucket.
